Swing gates are by far the most popular choice for commercial and residential gates. They can be automated or manual and can be manufactured using aluminium, steel and timber. 

Automatic swing gates are gates which are hinged on pillars or posts at either side of the entrance and can be automated either above or below ground level, automated gates can operate inwards or outwards   

Underground Swing Gate Automation

As one of Irelands first companies to introduce gate automation in the 1980’s, Electro Automation has more experience than any other local company. We know what we are doing and can assure success, first time, every time. We use brushless gate motors which reduces power usage and is much more efficient. Designed to reduce noise while increasing performance along with energy efficiency a Rogers underground system.

 Sometimes referred to as hidden automation, below ground systems are designed for underground installation and therefore do not alter the appearance of the gate itself. The foundation box of the automation system comes ready to take an operator. The EA electromechanical operator is irreversible, so it ensures a mechanical stop and eliminates the need to install an electric lock for a gate up to 2 metres long.

In case of an emergency, manual operation is assured by a special lever release system with a customised key, accessible from both sides. The EA model design includes a casing to house automated systems for gates of up to 800kg per leaf, making installation simple. The foundation box is galvanised and our operators are IP 67 rated.

Above Ground Swing Gate Automation

Electro Automation have perfected the art of gate automation and our above ground gate automation systems are exceptionally popular and cost effective. Our brushless motor systems allow exceptional performance and reliability with minimal maintenance. 

Above Ground gate automation is available using standard rams, or articulated arms. Your surveyor will discuss which option is best for your gates. Gates of up to 7M per leaf can be automated. Articulated arms can allow gate automation even when mounted on large pillars. All our operators are mechanical to greatly improve efficiency. Each includes mechanical locking to add security to every location. In the unlikely event of a power failure a manual release system with customised keys makes it possible to move the gate.

 Heavy Duty Overground Swing Gate Automation (Hydraulic Arm) 

The Heavy duty automation system for swing gates is a hydraulic unit comprising an electric pump and a hydraulic piston which moves the gate leaf. In case of an emergency, a customised release key makes it possible to operate the gate manually. 

For high levels of use such as entrances/exits for apartments or office blocks
