Thermal insulation is a key factor in the construction industry. While roofs, walls and windows have been insulated for decades, automatic sliding doors still exhibit massive and continuous heat exchange. This takes place even when the doors are fitted with insulated glass and are in the closed position.
The THERMCORD system has been specially developed for automatic door applications, and for the first time features thermally optimised door profiles with insulating properties. The dimensions, however, are so inconspicuous that they can hardly be distinguished from our conventional doors. There are three options in the THERMCORD range, namely:

THERMCORD RC 2 / RC 3 – effective burglar resistance with efficient, energy-saving properties
THERMCORD + – Energey efficient door system with patented active sealing system.
- Burglar resistance class RC 2 / RC 3 according to EN 1627 for increased safety requirements
- A thermally separated door frame prevents any heat exchange between the inside and the outside of the building
- Class P5A break-in resistant safety glass in accordance with EN 356
